About
We are looking for a skilled Forklift Operator to join our logistics operations in San Francisco, California. In this critical role, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating forklifts and other powered industrial trucks to move, load, unload, and stack materials within our warehouse. You will play a key part in ensuring the smooth flow of goods, supporting both receiving and shipping departments. The ideal candidate will possess a valid forklift certification, a strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures, and a meticulous attention to detail. This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple tasks, and maintain a high level of productivity. Adherence to all company safety policies and the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is mandatory to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues. While forklift operation is the primary responsibility, occasional lifting of items up to 50 lbs may be necessary. Experience with warehouse management systems and inventory control is highly beneficial. We are seeking a reliable, safety-conscious individual eager to contribute to our logistics team. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts and other powered industrial trucks safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and into warehouse racking.
- Move pallets of goods to and from designated areas.
- Stack and arrange inventory in a stable and safe manner.
- Perform daily inspections of forklift equipment and report any issues.
- Assist with receiving, stocking, and order fulfillment tasks.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all safety guidelines and procedures, including proper PPE usage.
- Participate in regular safety training and meetings.
- Contribute to overall logistics and warehouse efficiency.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid forklift operator certification.
- Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse environment.
- Thorough knowledge of warehouse safety standards and procedures.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.
- Familiarity with logistics and inventory control.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Strong commitment to safety and proper use of PPE.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable and punctual attendance.
