We are currently seeking a reliable and efficient Material Handler to join our warehouse team in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and timely movement of materials throughout our facility, supporting both production and logistics operations. This position is fundamental to maintaining an organized workflow and ensuring that goods are properly stored, staged, and transported. Your contribution is vital to our operational success.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and store incoming materials accurately.
- Transport materials within the warehouse using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other equipment.
- Load and unload trucks for inbound and outbound shipments.
- Conduct routine inspections of material handling equipment and report any maintenance needs.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, free from potential hazards.
- Assist with inventory counts and discrepancy reporting.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety regulations, including the proper use of PPE and safe lifting practices.
- Support other warehouse functions as directed.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role.
- Experience operating forklifts and pallet jacks is essential.
- Ability to perform frequent heavy lifting (up to 60 lbs).
- Solid understanding of warehouse safety procedures and logistics operations.
- Good physical stamina and dexterity.
- Team-oriented attitude and effective communication skills.
