The Forklift Operator will ensure the efficient and safe movement of materials throughout the warehouse. This position is critical to our daily operations, supporting everything from receiving to shipping. Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts to move, stack, and retrieve inventory and materials.
- Load and unload trucks efficiently and accurately.
- Conduct daily inspections of forklift equipment and report any issues.
- Maintain organized inventory storage and ensure proper product placement.
- Work closely with other warehouse staff to ensure smooth operational flow.
- Follow all company safety standards, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as needed, including manual lifting.
- Keep accurate records of movements and inventory adjustments.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid forklift certification and a minimum of 1 year of operating experience.
- Proficiency in operating sit-down and stand-up forklifts.
- Understanding of warehouse safety protocols and logistics best practices.
- Ability to perform lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Excellent situational awareness and a strong commitment to safety.
- Team player with good communication skills.
