About
We have an exciting opportunity for a Receiving Clerk at our busy facility in Orlando, Florida. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for incoming goods, playing a critical part in our supply chain and Logistics operations. Your main responsibilities will include unloading trucks, verifying incoming shipments against purchase orders, inspecting goods for damage, and accurately entering receiving data into our system. You will work closely with vendors and internal departments to resolve any discrepancies. This position requires attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Some physical work is involved, including the Lifting of items up to 40 lbs, and the consistent use of appropriate PPE is mandatory to ensure your Safety . Responsibilities:
- Unload incoming shipments from trucks.
- Verify incoming goods against packing slips and purchase orders.
- Inspect received items for damage or defects.
- Accurately record receiving information into the inventory system.
- Report discrepancies and issues to supervisors promptly.
- Stage received goods for put-away or further processing.
- Maintain a clean and organized receiving area.
- Adhere to all company Safety regulations and wear required PPE at all times.
- Communicate effectively with drivers and internal team members.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in receiving, inventory control, or a related warehouse role is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory management systems.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including Lifting up to 40 lbs.
- Commitment to workplace Safety and the proper use of PPE .
- Understanding of warehouse and Logistics processes.
- Good organizational and communication skills.
