Key Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts and other machinery safely to move materials.
- Load and unload trucks and containers.
- Transport goods between different areas of the warehouse.
- Organize inventory and ensure proper storage.
- Assist with cycle counts and inventory accuracy checks.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the warehouse floor.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and use provided PPE.
- Inspect equipment regularly for operational readiness.
- Support the logistics team in daily operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role.
- Forklift certification is preferred.
- Ability to perform tasks requiring manual dexterity and consistent lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and the importance of PPE.
- Familiarity with logistics and inventory control principles.
- Good physical stamina and coordination.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
