About
We are hiring a skilled Warehouse Technician for our state-of-the-art facility in Raleigh, North Carolina. This role is crucial for maintaining the operational efficiency and safety of our warehouse. You will be responsible for the upkeep, repair, and maintenance of warehouse equipment and systems, as well as ensuring all safety protocols are met. A strong technical aptitude and a deep understanding of warehouse logistics and safety are required.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on warehouse equipment, including conveyors, forklifts, and automated systems.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues to minimize downtime.
- Ensure all warehouse machinery is functioning optimally and safely.
- Implement and oversee preventive maintenance programs.
- Conduct safety inspections of the warehouse facilities and equipment.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and standards.
- Train staff on the proper and safe operation of equipment and the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment status.
- Assist with inventory management and material handling as needed, including safe Lifting practices.
- Collaborate with management to identify and implement process improvements in our logistics operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications in mechanics or electronics are highly desirable.
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Technician or in a similar maintenance role.
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and logistics systems.
- Familiarity with a wide range of warehouse equipment and machinery.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks as required.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and adherence to safety protocols.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
