Job Summary:
Charlotte, North Carolina, needs skilled Forklift Operators to enhance our logistics operations. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for safely moving, locating, relocating, stacking, and counting merchandise. This role requires proficiency in operating various types of forklifts and a thorough understanding of warehouse Safety procedures. You will play a key part in the efficient flow of goods, ensuring materials are transported to and from production and storage areas. Attention to detail is critical to ensure accuracy in inventory management and prevent damage to goods. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of safe operation, a commitment to the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and the ability to work effectively in a demanding environment. Experience with different racking systems and loading/unloading trucks is essential.
Responsibilities:
  • Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move materials within the warehouse.
  • Load and unload trucks, ensuring proper securing of cargo.
  • Transport raw materials to production areas and finished goods to storage.
  • Stack and retrieve items from high shelves.
  • Conduct pre-operation forklift inspections and report any issues.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts.
  • Adhere to all warehouse Safety regulations and procedures.
  • Use required PPE at all times.
  • Assist with general warehouse duties as needed.

Requirements:
  • Valid forklift operator certification and proven experience.
  • Ability to perform tasks involving frequent Lifting and significant physical exertion.
  • Excellent knowledge of warehouse operations and Safety protocols.
  • Strong attention to detail and good spatial awareness.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
  • Commitment to a Safety-first culture.
