About
We are looking for a meticulous Inventory Control Specialist to join our logistics team in Phoenix, Arizona. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our warehouse inventory. Your duties will include conducting regular cycle counts, investigating and resolving inventory discrepancies, and implementing best practices for inventory management. You will work with our Warehouse Management System (WMS) to track inventory movements and ensure real-time accuracy. This position is key to optimizing our supply chain operations and minimizing stockouts or overstock situations. If you have a sharp eye for detail and a solid understanding of inventory principles, this is an excellent opportunity for you. Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
- Investigate and resolve all inventory discrepancies promptly.
- Maintain accurate inventory records in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Implement and enforce inventory control policies and procedures.
- Monitor stock levels and report on inventory accuracy metrics.
- Identify and report any damaged or obsolete inventory.
- Assist with the organization and layout of inventory storage areas.
- Adhere to all Safety guidelines and use appropriate PPE.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
- Proven experience as an Inventory Control Specialist or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of inventory management principles and best practices.
- Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and inventory software.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to perform occasional Lifting of inventory items, up to 30 lbs.
- Commitment to Safety and accuracy in all tasks.
