Responsibilities:
- Accurately receive, inspect, and process incoming inventory.
- Organize and store products in designated warehouse areas, ensuring efficient space utilization.
- Pick items from inventory to fulfill customer orders, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Pack orders securely and appropriately for shipment, minimizing damage.
- Stage outgoing shipments for carriers.
- Operate material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks) safely and efficiently.
- Follow all established safety procedures and guidelines, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Conduct regular inventory checks and cycle counts to maintain data integrity.
- Keep the work area clean, tidy, and free of hazards.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to achieve daily production targets.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Experience in a distribution center or warehouse setting is advantageous.
- Capacity for sustained physical activity, including standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Excellent organizational skills and keen eye for detail.
- Familiarity with basic logistics principles.
- Commitment to adhering to all safety regulations and wearing required PPE.
- Team-oriented attitude and good interpersonal skills.
- Dependability and punctuality are essential.
- Effective communication abilities.
