About
Are you a certified Forklift Operator looking for a rewarding career opportunity in Huntsville, Alabama? We are hiring! This position is vital for the efficient and safe movement of goods within our state-of-the-art facility. You will be responsible for operating forklifts to manage inventory, load/unload trucks, and ensure materials are transported accurately and safely.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts to move, stack, and retrieve materials.
- Load and unload products from trailers and into storage locations.
- Perform daily inspections of forklifts and report any issues.
- Adhere strictly to all Safety protocols and company policies.
- Utilize required PPE , such as hard hats and safety vests.
- Maintain an organized and clean work area.
- Assist with inventory counts and record keeping.
- Manage the flow of materials within the warehouse, supporting overall logistics operations.
- Must be able to perform tasks involving frequent Lifting of items up to 50 lbs.
- Follow all instructions from supervisors and contribute to a productive team environment.
Qualifications:
- Current Forklift Operator certification.
- Proven experience operating various types of forklifts.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and procedures.
- Strong focus on safety and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift and carry items regularly.
- Good physical condition and stamina.
- Reliable transportation and a strong work ethic.
