Job Summary:
We are hiring experienced Forklift Operators to join our dynamic logistics team in Sacramento, California. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently moving materials, loading and unloading trucks, and stocking inventory throughout our warehouse. Your precision and adherence to Safety protocols are paramount to ensuring smooth operations and protecting both personnel and product. This role is critical to maintaining the flow of goods within our facility.
Responsibilities:
  • Operate forklifts and other powered industrial trucks safely and efficiently to move, stack, and retrieve materials.
  • Load and unload trucks, trailers, and containers with accuracy and care.
  • Transport materials to and from designated areas within the warehouse.
  • Perform regular pre-operation inspections of forklifts and report any mechanical issues immediately.
  • Store materials in designated locations, ensuring proper organization and inventory management.
  • Assist with inventory counts and cycle counting as required.
  • Adhere strictly to all Safety regulations, company policies, and traffic rules within the warehouse.
  • Ensure proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Support overall warehouse operations and contribute to the efficiency of the logistics process.

Qualifications:
  • Valid forklift operator certification required.
  • Proven experience operating various types of forklifts in a warehouse environment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse operations and inventory control procedures.
  • Excellent attention to detail and manual dexterity.
  • Ability to perform tasks involving moderate physical exertion, including occasional Lifting.
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and strict adherence to Safety guidelines.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Knowledge of logistics and material handling best practices.
