About
We are seeking a motivated Warehouse Worker to join our team in Des Moines, Iowa. This role is crucial for the efficient operation of our distribution center and plays a key part in our overall logistics network. You will be responsible for a range of tasks, including receiving and stocking merchandise, picking and packing orders, and preparing shipments for delivery. Safety is a top priority; therefore, all employees must strictly follow safety protocols and utilize appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming goods, verifying contents against orders.
- Stock merchandise accurately in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick and pack customer orders with precision and speed.
- Prepare products for shipment, including labeling and staging.
- Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (training available).
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work area at all times.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Participate in inventory cycle counts and stocktaking.
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks as needed.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of the logistics and supply chain operations.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to meet daily operational targets.
- Perform other assigned warehouse duties as required.
Qualifications:
Previous warehouse experience is a plus. Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs, and standing or moving for extended periods. A strong commitment to workplace safety and the correct use of PPE is essential. Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
