Responsibilities:
- Perform routine preventative maintenance on warehouse machinery and equipment.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
- Respond promptly to equipment malfunctions and service requests.
- Maintain an organized inventory of spare parts and tools.
- Ensure all work adheres to company safety standards and regulations, including the use of PPE.
- Collaborate with the operations team to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
- Document all maintenance activities and repair logs accurately.
- Assist with the installation and setup of new equipment.
- Conduct regular safety inspections of equipment and the work area.
- Stay updated on best practices in equipment maintenance and safety protocols within the logistics industry.
- Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a maintenance technician or in a similar technical role, preferably in a warehouse or industrial setting. Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems. Ability to troubleshoot complex issues and find effective solutions. Must be comfortable with lifting heavy items and working in various warehouse conditions. A solid understanding of safety procedures and the mandatory use of PPE is required. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
