We are seeking an experienced Inventory Control Specialist to manage our inventory operations in Nashville, Tennessee. This role is critical for maintaining accurate inventory records, minimizing discrepancies, and optimizing stock levels to support our logistics and production needs. You will be responsible for implementing and refining inventory control procedures, conducting regular cycle counts, and analyzing inventory data to identify trends and areas for improvement. A meticulous attention to detail, proficiency with inventory management software, and a strong understanding of warehouse best practices are essential. Safety is paramount in our operations, and you will be expected to promote and enforce adherence to safety guidelines, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). - Maintain accurate inventory records using WMS software
- Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventories
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies
- Develop and implement inventory control procedures
- Analyze inventory data to identify trends and forecast needs
- Monitor stock levels and recommend adjustments
- Ensure proper storage and organization of inventory
- Implement and enforce safety regulations, including the correct use of PPE
