Responsibilities:
- Receive and verify incoming shipments against documentation.
- Store inventory in appropriate locations, maintaining order and accessibility.
- Transport materials within the warehouse using equipment such as pallet jacks.
- Assist with regular inventory counts and cycle counts.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas and storage locations.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and company policies, including the use of PPE.
- Identify and report any issues with materials or equipment.
- Support the shipping and receiving departments as needed.
- Follow all directions from supervisors to ensure smooth logistics operations.
- Contribute to a safe and productive work environment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or material handling experience is preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Basic understanding of inventory control principles.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to protocols.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
