Are you a proven leader with experience in warehouse operations? We are seeking a motivated Warehouse Supervisor for our growing distribution center in Raleigh, North Carolina. You will oversee daily warehouse activities, manage a team of associates, and ensure the efficient and safe flow of goods. This is a key leadership role within our logistics operations.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of warehouse staff, including scheduling and task assignment.
- Ensure all warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping, are performed efficiently and accurately.
- Implement and enforce all safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe work environment.
- Monitor productivity and performance of warehouse associates, providing coaching and feedback.
- Manage inventory levels and conduct regular cycle counts to ensure accuracy.
- Train new employees on warehouse procedures, safety protocols, and equipment operation.
- Oversee the proper use and maintenance of warehouse equipment.
- Liaise with other departments and external partners to ensure smooth logistics operations.
- Address and resolve any operational issues or conflicts that may arise.
- Ensure proper use and compliance with Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) by all team members.
- Champion safety best practices, including safe lifting techniques.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse supervisory or lead role is required.
- Proven ability to manage and motivate a team.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics.
- Excellent understanding of safety regulations and procedures.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and relevant software.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
