Job Summary:
Are you a proven leader with experience in warehouse operations? We are seeking a motivated Warehouse Supervisor for our growing distribution center in Raleigh, North Carolina. You will oversee daily warehouse activities, manage a team of associates, and ensure the efficient and safe flow of goods. This is a key leadership role within our logistics operations.
Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of warehouse staff, including scheduling and task assignment.
  • Ensure all warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping, are performed efficiently and accurately.
  • Implement and enforce all safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe work environment.
  • Monitor productivity and performance of warehouse associates, providing coaching and feedback.
  • Manage inventory levels and conduct regular cycle counts to ensure accuracy.
  • Train new employees on warehouse procedures, safety protocols, and equipment operation.
  • Oversee the proper use and maintenance of warehouse equipment.
  • Liaise with other departments and external partners to ensure smooth logistics operations.
  • Address and resolve any operational issues or conflicts that may arise.
  • Ensure proper use and compliance with Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) by all team members.
  • Champion safety best practices, including safe lifting techniques.

Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in a warehouse supervisory or lead role is required.
  • Proven ability to manage and motivate a team.
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics.
  • Excellent understanding of safety regulations and procedures.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and relevant software.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
