We are seeking a skilled Reach Truck Operator to join our logistics operations in Cincinnati, Ohio. This role is essential for maximizing warehouse space and ensuring efficient movement of inventory. Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a reach truck to move, stack, and retrieve inventory in high-density storage areas.
- Load and unload materials from trailers and containers.
- Transport goods to and from designated locations within the warehouse.
- Ensure accurate placement and organization of inventory.
- Conduct daily inspections of the reach truck and report any mechanical issues.
- Adhere strictly to all warehouse Safety protocols and company guidelines.
- Utilize Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) correctly at all times.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
- Assist with inventory management tasks, such as cycle counts and stock checks.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency and productivity of our logistics operations.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience operating a reach truck is required; certification preferred.
- Ability to work at heights and maneuver equipment precisely.
- Familiarity with warehouse Safety regulations and best practices.
- Capability to handle moderate Lifting and physical tasks as needed.
- Strong organizational skills and excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced logistics environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Team-oriented attitude and good communication skills.
