About
We are seeking a motivated Warehouse Associate to become a key member of our operations in Boston, Massachusetts. This position involves a variety of tasks essential for the smooth running of our warehouse, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping goods. The Warehouse Associate plays a vital role in our Logistics chain, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all handled products. A strong emphasis on Safety, attention to detail, and the ability to perform physical tasks are crucial for success in this role.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments.
- Store and organize inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Accurately pick and pack customer orders for shipment.
- Prepare shipments for outgoing delivery, ensuring proper labeling and packaging.
- Operate material handling equipment as needed (e.g., pallet jacks).
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work environment.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures, including the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Employ proper Lifting techniques to prevent injuries and ensure efficient movement of goods.
- Participate in inventory management activities, including cycle counts.
- Collaborate with team members to meet operational targets and deadlines.
- Support the efficient functioning of our Logistics network.
Qualifications:
Previous warehouse experience is preferred. Ability to perform physical tasks including standing, walking, bending, and regular Lifting. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Knowledge of warehouse Safety best practices. Familiarity with Logistics operations is beneficial. Must be reliable, punctual, and a team player. Understanding of how to use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) correctly. Experience with pallet jacks or similar equipment is a plus. Commitment to overall Safety in the workplace.
