Job Summary:
Join our thriving **logistics** operation in Charlotte, North Carolina, as a Material Handler! We are looking for energetic individuals to manage the movement of materials within our distribution facility. This role is fundamental to our supply chain, ensuring that goods are efficiently transferred, stored, and prepared for further processing or shipment. You will be responsible for operating various types of material handling equipment, maintaining inventory accuracy, and upholding strict **safety** standards. Responsibilities:
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and proficiently.
  • Load and unload trucks, ensuring proper weight distribution and securement.
  • Move materials from receiving to storage areas and from storage to production or shipping areas.
  • Assist in receiving and inspecting incoming goods, verifying quantities and condition.
  • Stage materials for production or shipment as required.
  • Perform regular checks on equipment to ensure it is in good working order and report any issues.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to **safety** regulations.
  • Participate in inventory cycle counts and assist with inventory adjustments.
  • Wear appropriate **PPE** at all times while operating equipment or in designated areas.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures, with a focus on operational efficiency and **safety**.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Previous experience as a Material Handler or with similar equipment is highly desirable.
  • Certification for forklift operation is a plus.
  • Ability to handle physically demanding tasks, including **lifting** up to 60 pounds regularly.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse **safety** procedures and the importance of **PPE**.
  • Good manual dexterity and coordination.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
  • Demonstrated reliability and a strong commitment to workplace **safety**.
