We are actively recruiting a Material Handler for our expanding warehouse operations in Las Vegas, Nevada. This role is fundamental to our logistics process, ensuring that materials are handled efficiently, accurately, and safely. You will be involved in all aspects of material movement, from receiving and put-away to order staging and loading. The successful candidate will be physically capable, highly organized, and dedicated to maintaining a safe and productive work environment. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and verify incoming shipments.
- Sort and store materials in appropriate warehouse locations.
- Transport materials within the facility using hand trucks, pallet jacks, or other equipment.
- Pick items for outbound orders and prepare them for shipping.
- Load finished goods onto trucks for delivery.
- Maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of the warehouse.
- Conduct regular inventory counts and assist in stock management.
- Strictly follow all safety procedures and guidelines, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Report any safety hazards, equipment issues, or inventory discrepancies to management.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role is advantageous.
- Must be able to handle significant Lifting, often 50 lbs or more.
- Basic knowledge of warehouse logistics and inventory systems.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Commitment to upholding safety standards.
- Good physical stamina and the ability to stand and walk for long durations.
- Team player with effective communication skills.
