We are hiring a Warehouse Worker for our facility in Columbus, Ohio. This is a foundational role within our logistics operations, contributing to the efficient movement and storage of goods. As a Warehouse Worker, you will be involved in various tasks, including receiving inventory, stocking shelves, picking and packing orders, and preparing shipments for dispatch. Your physical capabilities and attention to detail are key to ensuring accuracy and efficiency in our warehouse. This position requires the ability to perform consistent physical activity, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. Safety is our utmost priority, and you will be trained on all safety protocols, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming warehouse materials.
- Sort and stock inventory in designated locations accurately.
- Pick and pack customer orders according to specifications.
- Prepare orders for shipment, including labeling and staging.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure efficiency and safety.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety rules and procedures, including wearing required PPE.
- Assist with loading and unloading of trucks.
- Report any discrepancies, damages, or safety concerns to supervisors.
- Operate manual pallet jacks and other basic material handling equipment.
- Contribute to team efforts and assist where needed to meet operational demands.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Ability to perform consistent lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics role is advantageous.
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
- Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the entire shift.
- Willingness to follow instructions and safety guidelines precisely.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality are crucial.
- Must be able to wear required PPE, such as safety shoes and vests.
