Our growing logistics company is looking for an experienced and motivated Warehouse Supervisor to lead our team in Baltimore, Maryland. The Warehouse Supervisor will oversee all day-to-day warehouse activities, including staffing, training, inventory management, and operational efficiency. You will be responsible for ensuring that all warehouse operations are conducted safely, accurately, and in a timely manner, meeting all production and shipping goals. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a deep understanding of warehouse **logistics**. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in warehouse supervision and a commitment to fostering a positive and productive work environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise, train, and mentor warehouse staff, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Manage daily warehouse operations, including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and shipping.
- Develop and implement efficient workflows to optimize productivity and reduce operational costs.
- Ensure compliance with all **safety** regulations and company policies, including the proper use of **PPE**.
- Monitor inventory levels and accuracy, implementing measures to minimize discrepancies.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth **logistics** and timely order fulfillment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues as they arise.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and secure warehouse environment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in warehouse supervision or a similar leadership role.
- Proven ability to manage a team and drive performance.
- In-depth knowledge of warehouse **logistics** and best practices.
- Strong understanding of inventory control and warehouse management systems.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to make decisions under pressure.
- Proficiency in **PPE** usage and **safety** procedures.
- Must be capable of **lifting** up to 50 lbs.
