Join our fast-paced logistics operations as a Material Handler in the heart of New York City, New York! We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious individual to manage the movement of materials within our facility. Your responsibilities will include operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment to load and unload trucks, move inventory, and stage goods for shipment. A strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures and efficient material handling techniques is essential. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and timely flow of products throughout our distribution network. This position demands physical capability, including the ability to lift and move heavy objects up to 70 pounds. Regular training will be provided on safe and efficient operating procedures for all equipment. A strong commitment to safety is paramount; therefore, all employees must strictly adhere to all safety guidelines and wear the mandated personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times. Your ability to work effectively in a team environment and maintain a clean and organized workspace will be highly valued.
