Join our dynamic team as a Forklift Operator in Phoenix, Arizona, where you'll play a vital role in our sophisticated logistics operations. This position requires skilled and experienced operators to manage the movement of materials within our distribution center. You will be responsible for operating various types of forklifts safely and efficiently, transporting goods to and from designated areas, and assisting with inventory management. A strong emphasis is placed on Safety, and all team members are expected to strictly adhere to our safety protocols, including the mandatory use of appropriate PPE. This role involves significant physical activity and requires the ability to perform regular Lifting of heavy items, often exceeding 50 pounds, as well as steady hand-eye coordination. You will work closely with other warehouse staff to ensure the seamless flow of products throughout the facility. Our logistics network relies on precision and speed, and your expertise as a forklift operator is essential to our success. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts and other powered industrial trucks to move, stack, and load materials.
- Transport raw materials, finished goods, and other materials throughout the warehouse.
- Perform routine inspections of forklift equipment to ensure it is in safe operating condition.
- Load and unload shipments from trucks and other vehicles.
- Assist with inventory management, including cycle counts and stock placement.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures, including the use of PPE.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area, ensuring clear pathways for operations.
- Work cooperately with other team members to achieve operational goals.
- Report any damaged goods or safety concerns immediately.
- Follow all Logistics and warehouse procedures for accurate record-keeping.
Qualifications:
- Valid forklift operator certification.
- Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse environment.
- Ability to perform substantial Lifting (up to 50 lbs or more) as needed.
- Deep understanding of warehouse safety standards and the correct use of PPE.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Strong commitment to Safety and adherence to all operational protocols.
- Ability to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
