Are you a skilled Forklift Operator? We have an exciting opportunity for you in Indianapolis, Indiana! We are seeking a certified and experienced Forklift Operator to manage the movement of materials within our busy distribution center. This role is critical for ensuring the efficient flow of goods and maintaining operational safety. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for loading and unloading trucks, moving inventory to and from storage areas, and staging materials for shipment. You must have a strong understanding of forklift operation, safety procedures, and load stabilization techniques. Maintaining a clean and organized work area around your operating zone is also essential. We prioritize a safe working environment, and adherence to all Safety protocols, including the proper use of PPE, is mandatory. The ideal candidate is reliable, has excellent spatial awareness, and can work independently or as part of a team. Experience operating various types of forklifts and other warehouse equipment is preferred. This is a key role in our logistics chain, ensuring timely and accurate processing of goods. Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts to move, stack, and retrieve inventory.
- Load and unload trucks and trailers efficiently.
- Perform daily inspections of forklift equipment and report any issues.
- Organize and maintain inventory in designated storage areas.
- Strictly follow all Safety regulations and wear appropriate PPE at all times.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as needed, including occasional Lifting.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of our logistics operations.
