About
Our St. Louis, Missouri Distribution Center is looking for dedicated individuals to fill the role of Distribution Center Associate. This position is fundamental to the efficient operation of our facility, encompassing a variety of tasks related to order fulfillment, inventory management, and general warehouse upkeep. You will contribute directly to the successful flow of goods within our logistics network.
Responsibilities:
- Pick and pack customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Receive, unpack, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders.
- Stock shelves and maintain inventory accuracy through regular counts.
- Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks safely.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks as needed.
- Follow all company policies and procedures, with a strong emphasis on safety.
- Identify and report any damaged goods or safety hazards.
- Utilize appropriate PPE for all tasks.
Qualifications:
- Previous warehouse or distribution center experience is beneficial but not required.
- Ability to read and interpret order forms and product labels.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift.
- Must be capable of lifting up to 40 lbs.
- Basic understanding of inventory management and logistics operations.
- Team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Willingness to adhere to all safety guidelines and wear necessary PPE.
