Join our growing team as a Warehouse Associate in Des Moines, Iowa. This role is fundamental to our supply chain operations, involving the meticulous handling of products from receipt to dispatch. We are looking for individuals who are detail-oriented, physically capable of performing required tasks, and dedicated to maintaining a secure and productive warehouse environment. You will be instrumental in ensuring inventory accuracy, timely order fulfillment, and contributing to the overall efficiency of our Logistics operations. Key Responsibilities:
- Receiving, unpacking, and verifying merchandise.
- Storing goods in appropriate warehouse locations.
- Fulfilling orders by picking items accurately.
- Packing items securely for shipment, ensuring product integrity.
- Preparing outgoing shipments, including staging and labeling.
- Maintaining warehouse cleanliness and organization.
- Assisting in inventory management and reconciliation.
- Operating material handling equipment as needed.
- Adhering to all company Safety standards and guidelines.
- Collaborating with team members to achieve operational goals.
Qualifications:
Experience in a warehouse setting is beneficial. Must be able to handle frequent Lifting of up to 50 lbs. Possess good organizational skills and a keen eye for detail. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Must be comfortable standing and moving for the duration of the shift. Commitment to following all Safety regulations and wearing the necessary PPE is required. This role provides a solid foundation for advancement within the Logistics sector.
