This role requires not only expert forklift operation but also the ability to assist with physical tasks, including significant Lifting and manual handling when necessary. Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts to transport materials throughout the warehouse.
- Load and unload shipments efficiently and accurately.
- Place inventory in designated storage locations, ensuring proper stacking and organization.
- Perform routine checks on forklift equipment and report maintenance needs promptly.
- Follow all established Safety procedures and utilize required PPE.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and orderly warehouse environment.
- Contribute to inventory accuracy through careful handling and tracking.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow in the logistics process.
Qualifications:
- Current and valid forklift operator certification.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse setting.
- Thorough understanding of warehouse Safety best practices.
- Capability to perform moderate to heavy Lifting (up to 50 lbs).
- Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced logistics environment.
- Dependability and a commitment to safety protocols.
- Must be willing to wear all required PPE.
