As a Picker/Packer, you will be responsible for accurately selecting items for customer orders and preparing them for shipment. Your duties will include navigating the warehouse, identifying and retrieving products, ensuring order accuracy, and packaging items securely. Safety is paramount in our operations, and all employees are required to follow strict protocols and use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This role involves regular Lifting of boxes and items, requiring physical capability and stamina. You'll be an essential part of our distribution process, ensuring our customers receive their orders correctly and on time. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves based on customer orders.
- Pack items securely and efficiently into appropriate shipping containers.
- Verify order accuracy before packaging and shipping.
- Label packages correctly for shipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all Safety guidelines.
- Use of required PPE is mandatory at all times.
- Assist with inventory checks and stock replenishment.
- Operate hand-held scanning devices to track inventory.
- Perform regular Lifting of items up to 40 lbs.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Picker/Packer or in a similar warehouse role is advantageous.
- Ability to work quickly and accurately in a fast-paced environment.
- Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
- Physically capable of performing tasks requiring frequent Lifting and standing.
- Understanding and commitment to workplace Safety and use of PPE.
- Basic reading and comprehension skills.
- Team-oriented and able to follow instructions.
- High school diploma or GED is a plus.
