About
We are seeking a motivated Warehouse Coordinator to manage and oversee operations at our Chicago, Illinois location. This pivotal role is responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning of our logistics and distribution processes. Your duties will include coordinating inbound and outbound shipments, managing inventory levels, optimizing warehouse layout, and supervising a team of warehouse associates. A strong understanding of supply chain principles and a commitment to Safety are paramount. You will be expected to enforce all Safety regulations, conduct regular training, and ensure the proper use of PPE by all staff. The ability to perform tasks involving significant Lifting and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment is essential. The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Experience in a coordinating or supervisory role within logistics is highly desirable. Responsibilities:
- Coordinate all inbound and outbound logistics activities.
- Manage inventory control and ensure accuracy.
- Supervise and train warehouse staff, promoting Safety awareness.
- Optimize warehouse layout and workflow for efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with all Safety regulations and company policies.
- Oversee the proper use and maintenance of PPE.
- Monitor and manage tasks involving Lifting and material handling.
- Schedule and assign tasks to warehouse associates.
- Liaise with carriers and suppliers to manage transportation schedules.
- Maintain accurate records and generate operational reports.
