This role is fundamental to our order fulfillment process, ensuring that our customers receive their products accurately and promptly. As a Picker/Packer, you will be instrumental in accurately retrieving items from inventory and preparing them for shipment. Your attention to detail and efficiency will directly impact customer satisfaction and the smooth operation of our logistics network. We foster a collaborative environment where safety is paramount. Responsibilities include:
- Accurately picking items from warehouse shelves based on order tickets using handheld scanners or other technology.
- Packing picked items securely and efficiently into appropriate shipping containers.
- Verifying product details and quantities against order specifications to ensure accuracy.
- Applying shipping labels and preparing packages for dispatch.
- Maintaining an organized and clean workstation and warehouse area.
- Adhering to all company safety guidelines and procedures, including the correct use of PPE.
- Performing quality control checks on picked and packed items.
- Assisting with inventory management and stock rotation.
- Communicating any issues or discrepancies to supervisors.
