About
Attention all experienced Forklift Operators! Our Fort Worth, Texas distribution center is seeking skilled individuals to join our team. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of forklifts to move, store, and retrieve materials within our warehouse. This role is critical to our supply chain operations, ensuring that inventory is managed effectively and shipments are processed on time. Responsibilities:
- Operate various types of forklifts (e.g., sit-down, stand-up, reach) to move, stack, and stage inventory.
- Perform daily inspections of forklifts to ensure they are in good working order.
- Load and unload trailers and containers with accuracy and care.
- Transport materials to and from designated warehouse areas.
- Assist with inventory counts and maintaining accurate stock levels.
- Ensure the safe handling of all products, preventing damage.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all Safety protocols.
- Wear required PPE , including safety shoes and vests.
- Support overall Logistics and operational efficiency.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse environment.
- Valid forklift certification.
- Demonstrated ability to perform physical tasks, including standing, walking, and Lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Knowledge of warehouse procedures and inventory management.
- Strong understanding of forklift operating safety standards.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Must be reliable and possess a strong work ethic.
