Become a key player in our logistics network as a Distribution Center Associate in Kansas City, Missouri. This role is essential for the efficient operation of our warehouse, encompassing a wide range of responsibilities from receiving to shipping. You will handle incoming and outgoing inventory, ensuring accuracy and maintaining an organized workspace. Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and process incoming shipments.
- Accurately identify and stock merchandise in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick customer orders using RF scanners or other provided technology.
- Pack items securely and efficiently for shipment.
- Prepare orders for outgoing logistics, including labeling and staging.
- Operate material handling equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks (training provided).
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the distribution center.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and guidelines, including the proper use of PPE.
- Participate in inventory cycle counts and physical inventories.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in a distribution center or warehouse setting is a significant advantage.
- Must be able to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet performance targets.
- Understanding of logistics and warehouse procedures.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
