Seeking a certified Forklift Operator for our state-of-the-art facility in Raleigh, North Carolina. As a Forklift Operator, you will play a vital role in our logistics operations, ensuring the safe and efficient movement of materials throughout the warehouse. Your primary responsibilities will include operating forklifts to load and unload trucks, move goods to and from storage areas, and assist with inventory management. A valid forklift certification and a strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures are essential. You must be committed to maintaining a safe working environment and consistently use required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This role involves frequent lifting of items, and candidates must be able to handle weights up to 60 pounds. We are looking for experienced, reliable, and safety-conscious individuals who can work independently and as part of a team. Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts to move, stack, and retrieve materials.
- Load and unload goods from trailers and other transport vehicles.
- Transport materials to and from designated areas within the warehouse.
- Perform pre-operation checks on forklifts to ensure they are in good working order.
- Assist with inventory control and cycle counting.
- Follow all safety regulations and company policies.
- Wear appropriate PPE, including safety shoes and vests.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns immediately.
- Collaborate with other warehouse staff to ensure efficient operations.
