Are you an experienced Material Handler looking for a new opportunity in Boston, Massachusetts? Responsibilities:
- Unload and receive incoming inventory, verifying counts and quality.
- Transport materials to appropriate storage locations using forklifts, pallet jacks, or by hand.
- Pick materials for production or outgoing shipments as directed.
- Stage materials for loading onto trucks.
- Perform regular inventory checks and assist with cycle counts.
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe workspace, adhering to all safety regulations.
- Ensure proper use of required PPE at all times.
- Operate material handling equipment safely and proficiently.
- Collaborate with supervisors and team members to optimize workflow.
- Support all aspects of warehouse logistics and material flow.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous experience in a material handler or warehouse role is advantageous.
- Must be able to handle frequent lifting of up to 60 pounds.
- Proficiency with pallet jacks and other manual handling equipment.
- Basic understanding of inventory principles.
- Strong work ethic and ability to work in a physically demanding role.
- Commitment to safety and adherence to all company guidelines.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours if needed.
