Job Summary:
Are you an experienced Material Handler looking for a new opportunity in Boston, Massachusetts? Our dynamic warehouse is seeking an energetic individual to manage the flow of materials efficiently and safely. You will be involved in receiving, storing, and distributing goods, ensuring that inventory is accurately managed and readily accessible. This role is key to our logistics operations, requiring physical dexterity and a sharp eye for detail. Responsibilities:
  • Unload and receive incoming inventory, verifying counts and quality.
  • Transport materials to appropriate storage locations using forklifts, pallet jacks, or by hand.
  • Pick materials for production or outgoing shipments as directed.
  • Stage materials for loading onto trucks.
  • Perform regular inventory checks and assist with cycle counts.
  • Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe workspace, adhering to all safety regulations.
  • Ensure proper use of required PPE at all times.
  • Operate material handling equipment safely and proficiently.
  • Collaborate with supervisors and team members to optimize workflow.
  • Support all aspects of warehouse logistics and material flow.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Previous experience in a material handler or warehouse role is advantageous.
  • Must be able to handle frequent lifting of up to 60 pounds.
  • Proficiency with pallet jacks and other manual handling equipment.
  • Basic understanding of inventory principles.
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work in a physically demanding role.
  • Commitment to safety and adherence to all company guidelines.
  • Team player with good communication skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours if needed.
