As a Bloomreach Solutions Architect, you will be one of the trusted advisors on our high‑energy, high‑performance global pre‑sales team. Your work will span multiple stages of the sales cycle, partnering with sales to drive value for customers by leading technical scoping and implementation of Bloomreach’s Discovery platform. You’ll maintain a deep understanding of product strategy, professional services, and the sales pipeline to identify business‑value opportunities and capture requirements that drive successful implementations.
Your role requires significant collaboration with customers and internal teams to set up engagements from the pre‑sales cycle. You will be hands‑on in delivering architecture services, working with post‑sales and customer IT teams to ensure requirements are met on schedule. A strong customer orientation, exceptional collaboration skills, and a solid technical background are key to success in this role. You will define, execute, and deliver custom demos and proofs of concept (POCs) in support of sales opportunities.
Responsibilities
Be a subject matter expert for the Bloomreach Discovery platform for both technical and business audiences.
Own all technical elements (discovery, demo preparation, technical POCs) across the sales cycle.
Lead technical discovery and solution design: map requirements, design integration approaches, and document a high‑level architecture (HLD) with risks, assumptions, and measurable outcomes.
Design and validate data flows for Discovery: catalog ingestion and modeling, event/pixel strategy, API usage patterns, caching/performance considerations, and search/relevance configuration guidance.
Partner with Solution Consultants to craft compelling technical narratives and tailored demos aligned to customer KPIs, buying criteria, and MEDDPICC qualification.
Co‑scope with agency/SI partners during presales, ensuring clear roles and peer‑review gates for handover to Services or partner delivery teams.
Drive excellent handoffs: package HLDs, scope/estimates, RACI, and risk/assumption logs for Services; remain engaged to de‑risk delivery where needed.
Contribute reusable assets (templates, checklists, patterns) that speed future evaluations; mentor SCs on technical components.
Support RFP/RFI/security questionnaires and handle technical objections with credibility and clarity.
Stay current on product and ecosystem capabilities; channel field feedback into product and delivery best practices.

API‑first and data‑focused solutioning, covering data modeling, event pipelines/pixel strategies, and tag management.
Presales excellence: consultative discovery, stakeholder mapping, technical objection handling, and translating technical depth into executive‑friendly narratives; familiarity with MEDDPICC is a plus.
Strong understanding of AI, ML, LLMs, and GenAI concepts, and their application to modern digital commerce and customer experiences.
Experience with leading e‑commerce platforms such as Shopify, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, or similar is a strong plus.
