Overview

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Head Chef to lead our culinary team in delivering exceptional dining experiences as well as manage labor and food cost budgets. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fine dining and catering, with a proven track record of managing kitchen operations, training for consistency, menu planning, and food production. This role requires a leader who can inspire and manage a team while maintaining high standards of food safety and quality.

Responsibilities

Oversee all kitchen operations, ensuring efficient food preparation and service.

Develop and design innovative menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and culinary trends.

Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies and maintaining stock levels and costing.

Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling practices.

Supervise kitchen staff, providing training and guidance to enhance their skills.

Coordinate banquet services and special events, ensuring seamless execution.

Monitor food production processes to maintain quality standards.

Have an awareness of margins and budget accordingly

Maintain cleanliness and organization within the kitchen environment.

Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and collaboration.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Head Chef or in a similar leadership role within the culinary field.

Strong background in fine dining, catering, and restaurant management.

Extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and presentation styles.

Experience in menu planning, inventory management, and cost control.

Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively.

Strong understanding of food safety regulations and best practices in the kitchen.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Exceptional communication skills for interacting with staff, guests, and vendors.
