The Kitchen Lead is responsible for overseeing kitchen operations and maintaining high standards. Their key responsibilities include directing kitchen workflows, conducting regular station checks, ensuring recipe adherence, monitoring cleanliness and safety, and providing feedback on workflow improvements.
The ideal candidate will have experience working in a fast-paced kitchen environment, possess strong leadership skills, and be able to maintain a positive attitude under pressure.
- Direct kitchen systems and workflows as directed by the Head Chef.
- Conduct regular station checks and maintain service readiness.
- Ensure recipes are followed and help maintain standards of excellence.
- Monitor and maintain cleanliness, safety, and health code compliance.
- Provide feedback to kitchen leadership on ways to improve operational efficiency and physical layout to support a smoother workflow.
