Financial Planning & Analysis Data Analyst (Temporary) Join to apply for the Financial Planning & Analysis Data Analyst (Temporary) role at Nomad Digital
We are currently looking to recruit a Financial Planning & Analysis Data Analyst to join our global Finance department on a fixed-term basis for 6 months to cover a period of leave. As an FP&A Data Analyst you will provide clear reporting to Business Streams and Regions to support forecasting and variance analysis. To capture business needs, drive consistency in data capture and automation in reporting.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Responsible for collation and consolidation of monthly actuals, rolling forecast and budgets along with variance analysis, risk/opportunities understanding by key performance drivers
Responsible for monthly closing activities, journal entries, general ledger reconciliation and other relevant regional documentation
Production of accurate and timely monthly reporting packs to support the Regional Finance Managers and enable Region Leadership and Operations Leaders to drive performance
Identify gaps in data or data inconsistency to drive more complete data capture within key systems such as Netsuite ERP and MS Dynamics CRM
Drive simplification and automation in consolidation and analysis process for monthly reporting and budgeting cycles
Develop an understanding of Netsuite ERP and become a key user and expert in the department
Account for and manage overheads for a portfolio of departments across the Group, whilst seeking out areas for efficiencies and savings (PO approvals, Accruals, Forecasting and variance analysis)
Provide reporting to align resource budgets with project workload profiles
Perform other ad‑hoc responsibilities as required
Adhere to the principles of all Nomad Values, Health & Safety guidelines and Ethics practices
Qualifications & Experience
Recently or part‑qualified CIMA/ACCA or similar with experience in an operational environment
Degree or equivalent preferred
Knowledge of finance, accounting, and budgeting principles
Proficient in MS O365, advanced Excel, Power BI & PowerPoint
Experience with an ERP system essential (NetSuite an advantage) and other consolidation reporting systems
Financial accounting and relevant technical accounting knowledge and ability to apply to real‑life situations

Ability to manipulate large volume of data and carry out detailed analysis of data, especially during year‑end, and provide results that are easily understood by external auditors and senior management
Ability to plan, organise and prioritise workload, including coordinating with others and ensuring statutory and other deadlines are met
Ability to support and develop team members
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders up to and including Senior Executives
Work as part of a team and independently to deliver a common goal or objective
