Overview
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Broker Account Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving new business revenue from both new and existing clients while ensuring a high level of client service. You will lead a client service team, manage day-to-day account activities, and support senior Broker Account Executives/Managers in handling medium to large books of business. Additionally, you will oversee a subset of less complex clients and key processes to deliver exceptional client-facing services.
How you'll make an impact
- Develop and acquire new business revenue from both new and existing clients.
- Provide exceptional client service to assigned accounts, ensuring client satisfaction and retention.
- Lead and manage a client service team, overseeing day-to-day account management activities.
- Assist senior Broker Account Executives/Managers in managing medium to large books of business.
- Manage a subset of less complex clients, ensuring their needs are met with tailored insurance solutions.
- Oversee key internal processes and activities to deliver seamless client-facing services.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop effective strategies for client growth and retention.
- Maintain a strong understanding of market trends, insurance products, and client needs.
About You
Required: Bachelor's degree and 3 years related experience or High School Diploma/GED and 8 years related experience required. License required.
Preferred:
- Proven experience in account management, insurance brokerage, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of insurance products and risk management strategies.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to manage multiple accounts and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Leadership experience with the ability to guide and motivate a team.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
