Meat Department Team Associate

We're seeking a talented Meat Department Team Associate to join our team. As a key member of our meat department, you'll be responsible for ensuring a high-quality shopping experience for our customers.

• Maintain a visually appealing display of products, including checking quality and freshness, rotating stock, and performing other assigned tasks.
• Ensure back stock is properly maintained.
• Assist with sampling programs and maintain sample areas in a clean and appealing condition.
• Perform cleaning duties as required, including cases, glass, signs, uprights, coolers, smokers, floors, and drains.
• Arrive on time, appropriately groomed, and ready to work, with a strong focus on customer service.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing needs promptly and effectively, and modeling suggestive selling techniques.
• Maximize sales potential through effective procedures for prepping, storing, rotating, stocking, and merchandising product.
• Follow established procedures, including Weights and Measures, health and sanitation, and safe work practices.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary working environment, and perform opening, mid, and closing duties as assigned.
• Report safety hazards and violations immediately.

• Sell proactively and provide excellent customer service.
• Learn basic knowledge of all products carried in the department.
• Visually examine products for quality and freshness.
• Read labels and familiarize yourself with various products.
• Assist with periodic inventory checks.
• Deliver information clearly and respectfully to fellow Team Members, customers, and vendors.
• Meet customer service expectations and standards in interactions with customers, vendors, and Team Members.
• Follow directions and procedures; demonstrate effective time management and organization skills.
• Possess a passion for natural foods and customer satisfaction.
• Demonstrate a strong work ethic and ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a sense of urgency.
