About
A full-service Italian restaurant in Hollywood is seeking an experienced Restaurant Operations Manager to join its team at a Long Beach location. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to provide exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities:
• Supervise and direct activities of staff to ensure guests have a pleasant dining experience.
• Assist staff and guests, ensuring prompt resolutions to inquiries and complaints.
• Provide support to front-of-house staff during service, including processing orders and handling cash transactions.
• Assist in maintaining employee relations and safety protocols.
• Coordinate with the head chef and general manager to plan and execute menu changes, promotions, and special events.
• Ensure seamless communication between staff members, management, and customers through effective interpersonal and communication skills.
Requirements:
• 2+ years of experience as a Floor Manager or similar role in the hospitality industry.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively present information to groups of people.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities, with a focus on fostering a positive and productive work environment.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and pre-scheduled events as needed.
• Valid Driver's License and certifications such as CA RBS Training, Alcohol Seller/Server Certified, and CA Food Handler Certified.
