Kitchen Istanbul is seeking a part-time Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our team for dinner services and one weekly prep shift. The role involves assisting in all kitchen tasks to help ensure a smooth, high-quality service, with a special focus on ingredient and mise-en-place preparation. The Line Cook works under Chef Busra Ayvaz and is expected to be willing and able to perform all tasks assigned to them by Chef. Applicants must have prior kitchen experience and availability for three dinner shifts per week as a full-day prep day midweek.


Position Responsibilities:

  • Prepare ingredients and kitchen stations
  • Maintain mise-en-place throughout service
  • Uphold kitchen cleanliness and sanitation standards
  • Assist in all kitchen tasks as needed

Candidate Qualifications:

  • Prior kitchen experience
  • Ingredient knowledge and a willingness to learn
  • Strong communication skills
  • Positive attitude
  • Weekend evening availability (Friday, Saturday, Sunday)

Position Compensation:

  • $23 per hour
  • Additional tips (tips vary depending on restaurant volume)
