- Supports operational efficiency by collaborating with the Team Leader on profitability, expense control, buying, merchandising, labor, regulatory compliance, and special projects.
- Leverages leadership skills to develop and motivate Team Members.
- Fosters positive customer relationships and resolves concerns in a fair and professional manner.
- Develops creative store layouts and product merchandising strategies.
- Works collaboratively with the Team Leader to achieve sales, purchasing, and labor targets.
- Analyzes sales reports and labor data to inform business decisions.
- Maintains advanced product knowledge and stays up-to-date on new products.
- Nurtures strong vendor relationships and ensures proper documentation for vendor processing.
- Serves as a point person and departmental lead in the absence of the Team Leader.
- Drives exceptional retail execution and fosters a positive work environment.
- Responds promptly to customer needs and questions, directing Team Members as necessary to satisfy and delight customers.
- Selects, trains, develops, mentors, motivates, and counsels Team Members to sustain a high-performance team and minimize turnover.
- Provides timely and thoughtful performance evaluations.
- Consistently communicates and models our organization's vision and goals.
