Meat Department Supervisor

We are seeking a skilled leader to oversee daily operations in the meat department. As a key member of our store leadership, you will be responsible for assisting the Team Leader in achieving sales, purchasing, and labor targets.

• Key Responsibilities:
• Develops and maintains an attractive and efficient store layout and product merchandising.
• Works with the Team Leader to achieve sales, purchasing, and labor targets.
• Assists the Team Leader in analysis of sales, reports, and labor.
• Assists the Team Leader in annual sales and expense projections and budget preparation.
• Orders and manages inventory effectively.
• Works with the Team Leader to resolve team concerns or issues.
• Serves as the point person and departmental person in charge in the absence of the Team Leader.
• Maintains high standards of retail execution.
• Fosters a positive environment of teamwork, respect, and morale.
• Maintains awareness of customer flows and needs and directs team members as necessary to satisfy and delight customers.
• Selects, trains, develops, mentors, motivates, and counsels team members in a manner that sustains a high-performance team and minimizes turnover.
• Communicates and maintains team member safety and security standards.
• Provides timely, thorough, and thoughtful performance evaluations.
