Job Summary
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the kitchen team, overseeing food preparation and production, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential to achieve our high standards.
Responsibilities
- Food Preparation and Production : Develop and implement menu items, manage inventory levels, and maintain high-quality food presentation.
- Team Management : Lead and motivate the kitchen team to achieve exceptional performance and customer satisfaction.
- Sanitation and Compliance : Ensure adherence to all health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Communication : Effectively communicate with the front-of-house team and management to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Training and Development : Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement training programs for kitchen staff.
- Inventory Management : Monitor and control food costs, optimize inventory levels, and manage supply chain logistics.
Qualifications
- Culinary Experience : A minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a sous chef in a Michelin-starred restaurant.
- Leadership Skills : Proven ability to lead and manage a high-performing kitchen team.
- Financial Management : Strong knowledge of financial management principles and practices in a kitchen setting.
- Computer Skills : Proficient in computer software related to inventory and financial management.
