The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in a high-end Spanish restaurant, with a proven track record of menu development and kitchen operations. They will be passionate about creating dishes that showcase the beauty and diversity of the Iberian Peninsula, while maintaining the highest standards of quality and consistency.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute menus that reflect the latest trends and innovations in Iberian cuisine
- Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring seamless execution and exceptional service
- Lead and train a team of cooks and chefs, promoting a culture of innovation and excellence
- Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors, sourcing the freshest ingredients and products
- Manage labor costs and ensure efficient use of resources
- 5+ years of experience in a high-end Spanish restaurant, with a focus on Iberian cuisine
- Proven track record of menu development and kitchen operations
- Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations
- Able to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Able to adapt quickly to changing work environments and priorities
