This position is for a highly skilled Head Chef specializing in Japanese cuisine. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working in reputable restaurants, preferably in Japan or internationally recognized establishments.
- The successful applicant will be responsible for creating authentic, technique-driven Japanese menus and executing them at the highest level.
- They will also contribute to maintaining exceptionally high culinary standards within our organization.
- We are seeking a team player with excellent communication skills and a deep understanding of traditional Japanese cuisine and sushi.
- Chefs who have completed short cooking courses will not be considered. A strong professional background and relevant qualifications are essential.
- Applicants must demonstrate hands-on experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
About the Role
This full-time, rotational position offers an exciting opportunity to join our private 70m motor yacht on an 8-week rotation basis (8 weeks on / 8 weeks off).
The yacht travels extensively throughout Southeast Asia during the Christmas and New Year period. Successful applicants will have the chance to explore new destinations while maintaining their professional expertise in Japanese cuisine.
Requirements and Qualifications
