Bakery Sales Associate

• Maintain a visually appealing display by ensuring cases and shelves are clean and well-stocked.
• Stock and clean shelves, bins, and display areas to ensure a high level of quality.
• Monitor products for spoilage and communicate waste to relevant teams.
• Maintain back stock in good order to prevent inventory issues.
• Assist with sampling programs and maintain sample areas to ensure they remain full, clean, and appealing.
• Participate in periodic inventory checks to ensure accuracy.

Provide exceptional customer service by addressing needs in a timely and effective manner. Model suggestive selling techniques and respond to phone calls and pages promptly and courteously.

• Lift up to 50 pounds.
• Stand/walk for 6-8 hours within an 8-hour workday.
• Use hands for single grasping, fine manipulation, pushing, and pulling.
• Perform bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching motions as needed.
• Work in environments with exposure to cleaning chemicals, temperatures below 32 degrees Fahrenheit (freezing), 32-40 degrees Fahrenheit (refrigerators), and above 90 degrees Fahrenheit.
• Work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Operate tools and equipment, such as knives, box cutters, electric pallet jacks, and other heavy machinery.
