Delivery Driver

LOS TACOS No. 1 is an expanding restaurant group with multiple locations in Manhattan serving Mexican tacos in a vibrant atmosphere. The company started after three close friends from Tijuana, Mexico and Brawley, CA realized the need for truly authentic Mexican tacos on the East Coast. The company is passionate about making every guest at LOS TACOS No. 1 feel like they have been transported to Mexico when they step into our restaurants.

We are looking for a Delivery Driver to work approximately 20+ hours/week in the early morning to distribute products to our locations in Manhattan (currently 10 locations and we are growing). The ideal candidate must be well organized, have a strong attention to detail and be eager to learn and grow with the company.
This role is responsible for providing key tortilla and other necessary items to Los Tacos No.1 shops, therefore, punctuality, dependability and reliability is crucial for the role.

Schedule will be 6 a.m. start time, with the ability to work weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Pick up the company owned van from the parking garage of tortilla shop
• Load and unload product from our facility in Manhattan and deliver it to our restaurants
• Arrive to work on time to ensure the product is delivered to each location in time for food service each day
• Work with the Facilities Maintenance team to coordinate deliveries on a timely manner
• Keep vehicle clean and organized
• Follow DOT regulations and safety standards
• Be aware of parking rules to avoid unnecessary parking rules
• Be available for additional delivery and pickup tasks that require the company vehicle

Skills Required

• Excellent communication and time management skills
• Prior work experience as a Delivery Driver
• Valid driver's license
• Good driving record with no traffic violations
• Bilingual (Spanish / English) preferred
